Tetherow is proud to once again host Breast Cancer Awareness Golf Day this year, on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
This outing is specifically for women who are breast cancer survivors or are undergoing active treatment. This fun and lighthearted 9-hole golf event begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and will conclude with lunch in the Fireside Room.
“In just our second year of hosting this event, we are dedicated to providing an experience that is memorable for all those involved,” said Nate Kitt, assistant golf pro.
The event is $40 per person and includes nine holes of golf, cart and lunch; a portion of the fee will be donated to the St. Charles Breast Cancer support program. Scholarships are available, and sign-ups are limited to the first 40 people. To find out more, please call the Tetherow Golf Shop at 541-388-2582.
“Golf on this day will be an amazing vehicle to show support, establish camaraderie and offer joy and laughter to those needing a break from the normal daily grind,” Kitt said. “It’s time to celebrate living with an amazing group of people!”
