Located just 25 minutes from Tetherow Resort, Mt. Bachelor is Oregon’s premier winter destination. Enjoy lift-accessed skiing and snowboarding from late November through May, with 360-degree summit runs and trails for all skill levels. Nordic enthusiasts can explore 35 miles of groomed cross-country trails, while thrill-seekers can tackle freestyle runs, a 400-foot superpipe, and hiking “the cone.” Additional activities like snowshoeing, dog sledding, and interpretive tours make Mt. Bachelor an unforgettable winter experience.

Tetherow is lucky to border the Deschutes National Forest which provides hundreds of miles of trails for outdoor adventures. Our recommendations include:

Some SnoParks are specifically geared toward Nordic trails, sledding, or snowmobiles. Please adhere to all rules, parking guidelines, signage, safety protocols and know your ability. Note that dogs are only allowed in certain SnoParks.

Tetherow guests staying in vacation rental homes or Tetherow Lodges can reserve a warm, comfy seat on our shuttle this winter season!

• Departure from Tetherow at 8 am & 11:30 am (great for the half day skiers and boarders)
• Pickup at Mt. Bachelor  at Noon & 4 pm
• Tetherow Pickup/Drop-off at The Café at Tetherow Sports
• Shuttle does not run to Sunrise Lodge. Services Mt. Bachelor West Village Lodge only.​

Reservations: Guests can call 2 weeks prior to their date of arrival to reserve the shuttle. Must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. All drop-offs and pickups will arrive and depart from the West Village shuttle drop-off loop at Mt. Bachelor. Please contact our front desk for reservations by calling 877-298-2582.
