Martin Luther King Day lands on Monday, January 21, 2019. That means you could potentially take a Friday off and have a four-day weekend! This is perfect for our January deal: starting January 4, book two nights and get the third free. We also have great lodging options paired with activity incentives, including our Ski and Stay Packages. Considering we are only 20 minutes away from Mt. Bachelor, these ticket and lodging deals are perfect for the ultimate winter getaway. If you’d rather come to stay with us in February, consider our Valentine’s Day deal on Thursday, February 14. We are calling it the Valentine’s Adventure Package and it includes an overnight stay, complete with champagne and a charcuterie plate, and either a moonlight snowshoe or dog sledding. Add on roses, truffles, or chocolate-covered strawberries for a customized evening and stay longer for only $100/night up to three additional nights. That could lead to a wonderful vacation since President’s Day is on Monday, February 18, 2019. What a romantic week!

Tetherow Events

While many Bend Oregon resorts hold events, most don’t have two stellar on-site dining options. And even though New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and will soon be in the rearview mirror, there are plenty of things to celebrate in February. Some special events include the Super Bowl and a few parties you’ll only find at Tetherow. The Super Bowl will be on Sunday, Feb 3, 2019, and there aren’t many better places to watch it than at our on-site pub-style restaurant, The Row. Featuring five TVs around the restaurant, 12 beers on tap, and an excellent menu including the best burger in Bend and a mac and cheese dish that will blow your mind, it will be a game to remember. Plus, if you book the Alpine 17 home for the weekend, you’ll have six TVs to watch the big game on.

If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, consider staying with us on February 26 for the Lang Winery Dinner. Our incredible chef team at Solomon’s will create a special menu around the winemaker’s selections, who will be at the event to talk about their process. If you are more of a beer drinker, we will hold the annual Brewery Smackdown on February 7, where defending champion breweries Crux and Silvermoon will take on a new brewery that’s to be determined.

Finally, Oregon WinterFest will be held over President’s Day weekend February 15-17 in the Old Mill District. Featuring live music, shows and entertainment, fire pits, ice sculptures, and light art along the Deschutes River, crowning the Fire King and Ice Queen, wine tasting, and so much more, Oregon WinterFest is a spirited staple for locals and visitors alike. The best part is, we offer a resort shuttle to and from the Old Mill for our guests since Tetherow is just up the way!
