Make the first tracks in Bend this La Nina winter!
We’re doing the happy dance over here. Why? According to meteorologist Matt Zaffino (KGW in Portland) the 2021-22 winter is on track to start early with abundant snowfall in the Cascades, including Mt. Bachelor. Our favorite part of the article states:
“… data shows that this winter, as the second of a back-to-back La Niña, should bring average-to-above-average snow to Central Oregon… in the first half of the season, November to January, comes on strong, laying down a deep snowpack in the process…”
